When in Andaz… The first thing you should do is visit the Pastry Shop that can be found on the first level of Toranomon Hills. If you’re lucky with the weather, the sun will shine through the windows while you enjoy your fine patisseries. This adorable shop is very well known for its signature pastry, éclair. So definitely try it out when you’re here!
Out of all the éclairs that we tasted, we must say our favorite flavour was salted caramel & blueberry
HANAMI GARDEN ON THE ROOFTOP BAR
When in Andaz … you have to experience Hanami garden on the rooftop bar especially now as the spring approaches! Here, visitors can enjoy afternoon tea or brunch surrounded by cherry blossoms. A huge thanks to the staff that had to keep up with our mini photoshoot on the terrace, haha. We simply fell in love with this place! The Hanami Garden opens for a limited period, so the best time to visit is probably around March-April.
When in Andaz… If you want to take the next step of comfort and luxury, you should visit The AO Spa and Fitness facility on the 37th floor. Both Alexandra and I enjoyed diving in the swimming pool as well as experiencing carbonated bath for the first time. If you haven’t doggy paddled in a 20-meter swimming pool with a magnificent view overlooking the Imperial Palace – then you have not lived! I had an amazing time at the Spa and my body thanked me later!
OUR ROOM & VIEW
When in Andaz… ENJOY. Honestly, if you’re staying at Andaz Tokyo, the room itself is going to feel like a resort. I remember when we checked-in to our room, we had to leave for Disney Sea right away. However, I had a moment where I started to ask myself, “Is Disney Sea even worth it?” It got to the point where Alexandra had to practically drag me out of the room. I mean, I was glad we visited Disney Sea, but unless I was dragged by the hair I wouldn’t have left.
Spacious room. Complimentary minibar that provided beverages and snacks. Bed facing the window so that you can absorb the breathtaking view. Traditional Japanese wooden materials mixed with the modern design. I can keep going for hours, but lets just say that I enjoyed my time here.
ANDAZ TAVERN LOUNGE & BAR
When in Andaz… you have to spend a morning at The Andaz Tavern located on the 51st floor. The restaurant offers a lovely buffet with wide varieties of food from Asian to Western. One of the best things is that guests are able to choose the plate they prefer to use for the food. In that way, an ordinary breakfast can quickly change into an art form!
Talk about flat lay on point!
