After seeing Gigi Hadid with the strobing look at the VMA’s I think many can agree that this is going to be the next big trend. Strobing is a new way to create a difference in your make-up routine involving illuminators that highlight and define your facial features. I have tried a variety of highlighting products over the years so therefore Maybelline asked me to take part of this campaign.

When it comes to makeup, the most important thing for me is having clear and bright skin. This is important because strobing will enhance the skin’s natural glow. Whenever I use a highlighter I apply it on the places I would want the sun rays to shine on. Where to apply highlighter on your face, you ask?

⁃ Top of the cheekbones and pat additional product on the very high points of the cheekbone.

⁃ Tip of my nose and down the bridge of the nose

⁃ On the chin and lips bow

⁃ Highest point above the eyebrow

⁃ Don’t forget to give your collarbones and apples on the shoulder some love for the perfect overall sun-kissed look!

As I am taking these products to Athen, I would want a matte and natural look so most of the time you’ll see me in the Master Sculpt Contour Powder. However, during the evening dinner I would want the contour to be more intense. In order for it to stay-on neatly while I’m dancing the night away – the Master Contour Creamy stick will be my go-to.

The Maybelline strobing stick comes in two different shades, a #100 Light-Iridescent and #200 Medium Nude Glow. My personal favorite is the Nude Glow as it matches my skin tone the most. The great thing about this product is that you can build it up as you like. It’s so effortless and gives you the nice dewy looking skin in an instant. If there is one product I’m always on the hunt for it’s the perfect highlighter that’s easy to apply and gives a stunning radiance. Strobe away!
