Fashion Palette At Art Gallery Of New South Wales
Earlier this week, I attended the annual Fashion Palette show at the Art Gallery Of New South Wales. Occassion for the night was to get a sneak-peek at Sydney’s next summer’s trends for 2018 and it was a great experience to be part of it for the first time. Fashion Palette was established in 2009 and the main goal is to assist Australian fashion designers to expand their business internationally via annual runways. The event featured several key brands, such as Akira Isogawa and Sass & Bide along with up and coming designers. Australia has a unique diversity in their fashion market and that was seen throughout the evening from several designers collections.
A snippet of photos from my outfit for the evening. This blazer from ZARA is a gem!
Alin Le’ Kal collection was presented with dresses full of embellishments, long gorgeous gowns and the finest qualities in decorations. A traditional white bridal gown is definitely not the norm anymore. It was so magical to see beautiful creations walk the runway and it was very inspiring to see pearls, florals and feminine cuts in the collection.
Other showings had swimwear and “ready to wear” attire which was very nice as well. Haus of Song was my favorite show with luxury silky garments and detailed military buttons.
I was in very good company together with Jessie Khoo, Jo Hombsch and Wesley Tan.
