BRUNCHIN’ IN SYDNEY: ABOVE THE SEA

⌱ CELSIUS COFFE CO

IN KIRRIBILLI WHARF FERRY.

Brunch is always a good idea, especially if you’re spending it at a lovely cafe above the sea. Alexandra and I was mesmerised when we discovered this quirky spot on Instagram. There was no question that we had to visit. The cafe is located right next to Kirribilli Wharf ferry. The road to the location might be pretty hidden if you arrive by car or walk – at least it was for us. With that being said, Celsius Coffee certainly looks better in real life! Come here for a date with your significant other or just a fun catch-up with your friends while listening to the sound of waves crashing onto the shore.

For drinks we went for something colorful and refreshing; Celsius’ Bontanica Cold Press Juices. It tasted as good as it looks.

Celsius is little and intimate, but the atmosphere is very friendly. One thing you should know is that there will be a waiting line, so make sure to come early on to skip the queue. Believe me, it’s worth the visit!

The presentation of dishes was served on colourful platters and looked strikingly good. I had a dish called Billy’s Eggs, which consisted of Chilli buttered eggs, sautéed cherry tomatoes, House made onion jam, Greek yoghurt and burnt butter on sourdough. The sourdough was crispy and the poached eggs melty, just how I like it. It is a must-try if you ever visit!

We got seated right next to the windows and had a splendid view of the crystal blue water.
