MBFWA MAKEUP LOOK FOR CANDID’S BEAUTY CORNER
MBFWA is full on live in Sydney this week and it is all happening at the Carriageworks. In the midst of the craziness, Candid That decided to create a quick & easy MBFWA makeup look fitted for the busy days. Some of the key products from Maybelline used in this video are the Baby Lips Balm & Color Jolt Lip Paint. During fashion week, CANDID got the amazing opportunity to be backstage with Maybelline. Here we got to meet the makeup director, Nigel Stanislaus apply and explain each individual look created. All models who walked the shows that Maybelline sponsored wore the new debutant products. After day one of fashion week we decided to set up the camera gears and try the product ourselves for the first time. The video was actually recorded right before we headed for a show, so this was the look I gave myself prior to the Bec & Bridge Meow Collection. The MBFWA makeup tutorial was created to be quick and easy. It ended up being a favorite make-up look for the entire week.
Other products used are simply a must-have if you want the coverage to last an entire day. Lancôme’s Teint Ultra Wear foundation gives you a medium light coverage, it lasts the entire day and feels like a second layer on your skin. It is super buildable and a breeze to apply on. The same goes for Urban Decay’s Perversion mascara. It is absolutely perfect for fashion week with its voluminous brush and solid black color. If you did not notice, Tsutsumi added some last edits to the video before it was uploaded. I apparently said the word “APPLY” a gazillion times, and to prove it, she decided it would be funny to count and make a note in the video everytime I said it.. We hope you enjoy this video and stay tuned for the next Candid’s Beauty Corner!
