Mint hair have been trending and making waves in the beauty world lately. I just love the shade and find it incredibly quirky. I’m no stranger to going in for a cut and colour change. So when the Colorista semi-permanent mint washout launched in Norway, I had to give it a whirl! Hint hint, you might find me on the package (:

What do you think? I ended up with going ombré for a more subtle look.

Curling hair with a straightener gives me the most natural results. The GHD Platinum White Styler is the iron I’ve been using for the past few years to create my loose curls and beach waves.

I’ve been told that green hues will be the go-to colour this year. For those who like to experiment with bold statements; GO MINT!

THRUSDAYSPhoto: Tumblr
Dear, Thursday.

– It’s me, writing to you from the other side of the world.

I told myself before I left that I would not long for anyone. Not even you. Still, for the first time in a long while, I feel hiraeth cave in.

There is no secret that you were my favourite day of the week. With you, it was peaceful. We would snooze until noon. Read a book, and sit on the balcony sunset gazing over a cup of tea. Thursdays here are unfamiliar. Green tea, is suddenly replaced with black bitter coffee. Time is moving slowly and a book is hard to read. Our darling afternoons is now a dwindling memory. I can’t help but think that Thursdays will never be the same as it was with you.

thursday tune: Gettin’ Old – 6LACK

In collaboration with House Of Lashes

Just when I thought my Paris days were over, the next thing I knew I was back on a plane en route to yet another Paris adventure with the team of House of Lashes. I spent a wonderful weekend with the HOL-team shooting for a secret campaign while exploring the city of love. The team consisted of three girls; Jenn the founder of House of Lashes, Stephanie whom are in charge of marketing, and Anha the talented photographer. I had such an amazing time with these girls! Truth be told, out of all the times I’ve been in Paris, this was my favourite trip simply because this time I actually got to explore my favourite spots and discover new places that I didn’t have the time to visit during my previous trips. Our days started early on, we worked efficient till noon, and then ended the days as tourists. It felt more or less like a girl’s trip rather than work!

5 Spots I Loved The Most:

  1. Les Deux Plateaux – Breath-taking architecture.
  2. Musée du louvre – Magical during sunset.
  3. The Eiffel Tower – What’s not to love about The Eiffel Tower?
  4. Rue Crémieux – An incredibly charming and colourful street.
  5. Le Marais – Hidden coffee shops and french brasseries, yes please!

5 Small Things I Enjoyed in Paris:

  1. I’ve always wanted to see the Cherry blossom tree in person. Fortunately, we traveled to Paris during spring, which is the cherry blossom blooming period. It was absolutely stunning, and I hope everyone gets to experience it once in one’s lifetime.
  2. One of the highlights during shooting was definitely getting to play around with this lovely flower bouquet!
  3. I absolutely adored every outfit I got to wear for this campaign. It was dreamy and made me feel like a princess straight out of a fairy tale. For those wondering where my outfits are from; LuLu’s the place!
  4. On our first day in Paris we explored the city and came across Amorino, that is an Italian dessert shop. It was so nice to enjoy a delicious ice cream on a sunny day out.
  5. Paris is one city that I can never get enough of. The architecture is just mesmerising.

It was such a pleasure to work with House of Lashes and I can’t wait till the campaign launches for you guys to see! Wait for it, wait for it, wait for it!

In collaboration with L’Oréal Paris

A few weeks ago, I traveled to Paris for yet another #secretproject with my beloved L’Oréal family. This is the fourth time I’m in Paris and it’s starting to feel like my second home. If you are wondering if it’s a Colorista project, well, let me tell you; it’s not! This project is something completely different and super exciting, that I can’t wait for you guys to see!

For two whole days we worked with a professional team that consisted of hairstylists, photographers, filmmakers, fashion stylists and many more. Everyone is so nice and accommodating and take such good care of you. It’s always a pleasure working with the L’Oréal team, whom constantly manage to make work feel like a playground. I feel so grateful for having the opportunity to be part of this fun journey.

The talented Frederic Mennetrier and his team dyed my hair dark blonde for this project. What do you think? Should I keep it or go back to blonde?

My look for this shoot was selected by fashion stylists on set. Chic but yet effortless.

Kirsten Zellers, Debi Flügge, Elsa Shakers, Hannah Desai, and Paola Turani are some of the influencers that are part of this #secretproject. The best thing I know is to make new friends around the world, and L’Oréal have definitely contributed to that. It was so much fun hanging out with the girls, and hopefully we’ll get to meet again very soon!

Hope you liked the BTS photos! See you on the next one, xx.

Like many others, we’ve grown tired of the cold and simply can’t wait for milder temperatures ahead. But while we’re still in the middle of the winter cold, I have decided to layer up in a stylish way. How do you stay comfy and warm yet on edge at the same time? Just throw a big furry jacket over and wear it with sunglasses on a gloomy day. Exactly one year ago, I actually used this jacket for New York Fashion Week and you can see how oversized it was on my petite frame. However, an oversized jacket always comes in handy because then you get to wear an additional jacket underneath and get to stay stylish yet warm in this biting cold.
